Body Shape Matters!!
Ok I like this coat! Not very heavy yet warm enough. A lot of reviews say runs large. For me that was not the issue. I am a bigger girl. My shirt size is 22 but the 1x large was tight around arms and chest, so I got the 2x and it is ok but still tight around the back and of course I tried to stretch and ripped it so I would go with a 3x for no reach restrictions! (My chest measurement is 52) Hope this helps.
Cute - But sizing is off . . .
This jacket is cute and considering Wisconsin winters, warm enough for short periods of time outdoors (e.g., run out to the car, from car to store or work) but not for extended periods. If you want to go for a winter walk, this coat will not keep you warm enough.
The real problem with this coat is the fit. Like everything else from Woman Within, sizing is hit or miss. My last version of this coat was quite roomy, this one is a tad snug across the shoulders and bust and I can't even button the bottom button. I realize every plus-sized body is shaped a little different, but it would sure be nice if someone recognized the fact that many larger women have big bellies or posteriors so coats need to have more room in that area.
